Summer is almost here, which means it’s time to splash around in the sun at Welk Resorts Summer Splash. Grab your swimsuits and beach shorts, mosey on down to our beautiful San Diego resort, and get ready for a sun-drenched day on the Oaks golf course. Summer Splash will be all about the Sunday Funday vibe, with corn hole, giant Jenga, and solo cup pong spread out across the grounds. Whatever way you choose to beat the heat, several bands will be there, rockin’ out, including Young Guns (for all your favorite country hits) and Kingsland will provide Islander-style music. For adults of age, we’ll be pouring Summer Signature Cocktails (including a special watermelon recipe), frozen margaritas, and craft beer, all on sale. Plus, there will be a couple of tasty food trucks when you get hungry.

Will there be any other dates for the Splash? Also, can you describe the water slides at the resort in San Diego? Thank you.
Hi Barbara, this is a one-day event but we may bring it back next year. If you’re curious about the water slides at the Summer Splash event, we’ll have the world’s tallest inflatable slide (42 feet) with duel lanes. If you’re asking about the water slides at the resort pools, we have two half pipe slides (Boulder and Mountain) which are approximately 150 feet in length (must be 42″ or taller to ride the resort slides).
Is there a pool or is it all water games and inflatables?
This event will be on our Oaks golf course and will be water games, slides, and inflatables. There will not be a pool at the event.
