Located on six acres of a scenic bend in the Blue River, minutes from world-class Breckenridge Ski Resort, the sales preview center for The Ranahan by Welk Resorts opens its doors in Summer 2018. Completion of the first phase of construction is expected, weather permitting, in late 2019. This first phase will be comprised of two-bedroom villas — 7 standard and 30 lock-off — for a total of 67 keys. With an eventual buildout of 123 keys, our ranch-inspired resort will feature native stone and timber construction with spacious one- and two-bedroom units, each with a kitchen, living room, dining area, balcony or patio, and fireplace.

When will the Resort be available for Owners?

Completion of Phase I construction of The Ranahan by Welk Resorts (“The Ranahan” or “Resort”) is expected, weather and construction conditions permitting, in late 2019.

How many units will be included in Phase I? How many total keys will the Resort have?

Phase I will include 37 two-bedroom villas – 7 standard and 30 lock-off units – for a total of 67 keys. The complete buildout will be comprised of 123 keys.

What type of units will be available in Phase I of the buildout?

The Resort will have 2-bedroom standard units as well as 2-bedroom lock-off units, which are comprised of a large 1-bedroom and small 1-bedroom villa.

When can I book a reservation using my Platinum Points?

Depending on your Ownership level, you may be able to begin booking reservations as early as Summer 2018.

What are the Points required for the various units?

Does the Resort have differentiated seasons?

Yes, the Resort will have four seasons – see below:

If I have a deeded ownership with Welk Resorts, can I stay at this Resort?

The Ranahan will be available to all Platinum Point Owners for use through the Welk Resorts Platinum Program.

Where is Breckenridge?

Breckenridge is in Colorado, approximately two hours West from Denver International Airport.

Which airport should I fly into for easy access to Breckenridge?

Denver International Airport is a scenic two-hour mountain drive from Breckenridge.

Will the Resort have pet-friendly rooms?

All Welk resorts have a no-pet policy; however, services animals are permitted.

Will the Resort have a pool and recreation area?

Yes; Phase I buildout of the Resort will include an indoor/outdoor swimming pool with slide and splash pad, and hot tubs.

Will the Resort have a restaurant?

The Resort will offer an Owner’s Lounge that includes a cocktail bar and small market area.
