Auditions for Anything Goes

Welk Theatre Producer Joshua Carr, Ray Limon, Director/Choreographer and Justin Gray, Musical Director casting for ANYTHING GOES running January 3 – March 23, 2014

All roles open. Non-union call. Seeking non-union performers who sing and dance well that are character types for principal and ensemble roles. NO SUBMISSIONS – must attend the audition.

Auditions are November 4th at 10am. Sign in begin at 9:30am at the theatre – 8860 Lawrence Welk Drive, Escondido, CA

10am – Dance call – all ensemble, Billy, Reno, Angels, Hope and Bonnie must attend this call. Must bring tap shoes AND character shoes. Girls please dress appropriate to show physique. You may be asked to stay and sing. Call backs for reading will be by invitation only beginning at 3:30

1pm - Principal continued call. Prepare 32 bars of up tempo or ballad in classic musical or Cole Porter. You may be asked to stay and read beginning at 3:30pm by invitation only and selected from the 10am and 1pm audition calls only.

Rehearsals begin December 6th at the Welk Theatre in Escondido Sunday through Thursday on a normal basis – varied times – off from Dec 23rd to Dec 26th

Performances are Wed/Thurs/Sun @ 1pm and Thurs/Sat at 8pm. There is pay – rehearsal pay and performance pay rates averaging $375 per week.
