Guard Gates. Reports disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalisms and accidents by communicating with Resort Safety Officer Is and detects infringements. Reports the detection of fires, unsafe conditions, missing or inoperative safety equipment and criminal or suspicious activities to Resort Safety Officer Is to ensure guests have a safe and pleasant stay. Checks each guest as they enter the property for appropriate documentation and ensures that they are authorized to be on property. Answers telephones and utilizes two-way radios. Retains and relays information received under stressful conditions, reports calls quickly and calmly and makes sound decisions under pressure. Must have the ability to calm guests and visitors in emergent, emotional or stressful situations. Uses computer technology to record data of incidents and daily activities. Assists guests, associates, and other departments as requested within reason. Warns violators of rule infractions and/or ejects persons disturbing the peaceful and pleasant experience of resort guests. Works a traditional rotating shift schedule. Ability to work different shifts (weekends, holidays and relief shifts). Must be available to work until September.
