Los Cabos International Airport
Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos Mexico have flights arriving and departing daily at Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) at San Jose del Cabo. The Los Cabos airport is located 13 km (8 miles) north of San Jose del Cabo and 48 km (29 miles) northeast of Cabo San Lucas. Click for Airport Contact Info.
Ground Transportation
The drive from the Cabo airport to San Jose del Cabo is only 15 minutes but the drive to Cabo San Lucas is 30 to 45 minutes. Due to the length of drive between the Cabo airport and Cabo San Lucas it is ideal to schedule ground transportation ahead of time as taxis can be expensive. The Los Cabos International Airport recommends TransBaja. The good news is the view through the San Lazaro mountain range is breathtaking!
